Future of Water

What if you didn't need a wave?

Fliteboard turns open water into something entirely different — a place to fly.

Surfing traditionally starts with a wave. Wakeboarding needs a boat. Fliteboard asks a different question: what if all you needed was water?

Powered by an electric hydrofoil beneath the surface, Fliteboard lifts the rider above it — creating a quiet, fast and remarkably different way to explore.

No wave required. No tow rope. Just water.

The feeling of flight.

As speed builds, the hydrofoil under the board generates lift and raises the hull clear of the surface.

The sensation changes completely. You stop riding across the water and start carving above it — no slap, no chop, no engine noise. Just a line drawn in the air a foot off the surface.

No wave.
No wake.
No rope.
Just flight.

Why it caught our attention

A whole lot more water just became rideable.

That's what makes eFoiling interesting to WakeLuxz. A calm lake. A protected bay. The water surrounding a yacht. A quiet morning at a resort.

Places that don't offer traditional surf conditions can suddenly become places to ride.

Fliteboard doesn't simply change how you move across the water. It changes where the experience can happen.

Current generation

One idea. A lot of ways to ride.

What began as a single novelty has quietly become a family. ICON for versatile all-around riding, PRO for more dynamic performance, ULTRA L3 for lightweight wave-focused riding, AIR built inflatable and forgiving, FLITESCOOTER to make learning approachable — plus RACE × Mercury Racing and Marc Newson design configurations at the edges.

Different riders, different water, same idea underneath.

Water × Boats

Built to go with you.

Flite AIR × Axopar

One of the most interesting signs of where eFoiling is heading is its increasingly natural relationship with boating. Fliteboard's Flite AIR × Axopar brings those two experiences together — turning the journey by boat into another opportunity to ride when you arrive.

What's under the water matters most.

Everything that makes the ride happen sits below the surface — the electric drive and the wing — while the rider controls it all from above with one hand.

Current options span Flite Jet 2 and Flite Prop drives, multiple wing configurations, Flitecell battery choices, the handheld Flite Controller and ride data in the Flite App. The point isn't the spec sheet. It's how little of it you think about once you're flying.

Ultra L3

When flying isn't enough.

ULTRA L3 is the sharper end of the same idea — lighter, more responsive, built for riders chasing carves and swell rather than a first flight.

Why it's on our radar

Some innovations make an existing experience better. Others create an experience that wasn't really possible before.

Lakes become playgrounds. Boat trips gain another dimension. Calm water becomes something worth waking up early for.

And suddenly, waiting for the perfect wave isn't part of the plan.

The future of water might be above it.
