A New Season of Adventure Is Almost Here
From Water to Mountain
As the seasons shift, so does the way we explore.
For those who spend their summers on the water — chasing glassy mornings, perfect wakes, and long days under the sun — winter offers something just as compelling. A different kind of terrain. A different kind of freedom.
The mountains are calling — and this winter, they promise something special.
From legendary ski towns to world-class resorts, the 2026–2027 season is shaping up to be one defined by experience, elevation, and escape. Whether you're drawn to perfectly groomed runs, deep powder, alpine luxury, or simply the atmosphere of a mountain town in winter, this is the season to lean in.
Here are the destinations setting the tone.

Few places capture the balance of adventure and refinement quite like Aspen Snowmass. Four distinct mountains, a vibrant town, and a long-standing reputation for both world-class skiing and elevated living make it a cornerstone of the winter season.
Aspen Mountain and Snowmass are scheduled to open on November 26, 2026, with Aspen Highlands and Buttermilk following in December.
Off the slopes, Aspen delivers just as much: fine dining, boutique shopping, and a lineup of winter events that make it as much a destination as it is a resort.

Big Sky — Nov 25.
Aspen Snowmass — Nov 26.
Jackson Hole — Nov 27.
Deer Valley — Dec 5.
Announced 2026 opening dates, conditions permitting
Jackson Hole is where winter feels raw, powerful, and unforgettable. Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Teton Range, the resort is known for its challenging terrain, deep snowfall, and a spirit of adventure that runs through everything it does.
Opening day is set for November 27, 2026 — from steep lines and open bowls to the legendary Aerial Tram to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain. Beyond the resort, the town of Jackson pairs Western character with high-end dining and lodging.

Deer Valley has built its reputation on precision, service, and an elevated approach to skiing — meticulously groomed runs and a guest-first experience.
The resort is targeting a December 5, 2026 opening, conditions permitting. This season the Hail Peak Express chairlift opens 200 additional skiable acres and seven new runs. For those who value comfort as much as adventure, Deer Valley stands apart.

Big Sky lives up to its name. Vast terrain, fewer crowds, and a sense of scale that feels increasingly rare. The season is expected to begin on November 25, 2026 — from long cruisers to expert terrain beneath Lone Peak, the mountain feels endless.

For those who live for the water, winter isn't an off-season — it's a shift.
Early mornings. Perfect conditions. Whether it's a glassy lake at sunrise or an untouched run at first chair, the feeling is familiar.
The mountains simply offer a new way to chase it.
From the water to the mountains, there's always more to discover.
